The Occasional Update, once more

I have noticed the Dashboard has got a new interface since quite a while ago. Writing space still pathetically tiny though slightly improved.

I am fully aware that I have not been updating here, nor posting at dA, nor anywhere else in the intarwebz for a long long time. I mean, heck, this is my first April post. What a drastic decline since the holidays last year.
It’s not likely that you’ll be seeing me post very often from now on, sad (or not) to say.. exams coming up, and I have bad time management. Care to share any of your tips to cope with alarmingly high [stress-levels-which-force-you-to-stay-up-to-2am-to-finish-work] with me? Sigh. Woe is to the life of one who plays a sad role in this vast stage of a world.

Minami-ke 'Lookie there, a highly stressed-out non-sentient being!' orz

Note: This post’s images theme is Minami-ke, as you can see, even if I haven’t vaguely gotten hooked on it nor did I finish up the whole first series. Why Minami-ke? Beats me. (Speaking of beating, I baked a cake the day before! Hurrah.)

WIP art (read: bunch of lines), and right when school’s started…

Before I start, though, I would like to state once again that I have a warped (read: ultra lame) sense of humour and horrid writing skill. Just ask my English teachers who read my essays! And therefore, why are you reading on?! What, reverse psychology? Well I’ll be darned :\

Was bored today, so I started on a shoujo-styled sketch/drawing. I like proper, clear lines most of the time, especially when I work digitally, which is why my eraser is only my next best friend, narrowly losing to ctrl+z…

Otomen Wai!–and other updates.

I’d taken note of Otomen ever since I saw a huegish poster at Kinokuniya, but I didn’t take note of the title till now.

The summary sounds interesting enough, and even the title is unique.

*ripped fr Serenus-Dreamers: Asuka is a guy who has likings for girly things like shoujo manga, baking, and sewing. However, his mother forbids him being so and wants him to grow up manly. He starts learning kendo and karate and grows up to be stoic guy. But can he fight the urge of falling in love and hiding his real identity?

I mean, no other manga series has ever done this as a main plot, have they. Except maybe Ouran, y’know that Honey-senpai mini-arc about his brother? yeah.

Aand, reading into the first volume, it was actually quite comedic as well. Just the poor Asuka’s luck that the girl he happens to crush on is entirely unsensitive. Anyhoo, if you get a chance and don’t mind shoujo themed manga, it’s pretty worth it imo. ASUKA IS HELLA FUNNY.

As for other updates, I’ve caught up with the Yakitate!! Japan and KHR manga. And I’ve just got my hands on Tekkon Kinkreet. Good animation scouted in the trailer. =v= I hope it’s good…

speaking of which Tekkon Kinkreet reminded me of animatrix and now I really want to watch it somehow T_T gar. Except, I’m not so sure I like dubs…
